This Privacy Policy explains what information JetStream Live ("we", "us", the "app") collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using JetStream Live you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

We aim to collect as little as possible. Depending on how you use the app, this may include:

• Account details — if you create an account, your name and email address, handled through our authentication provider (Google Firebase Authentication).
• App data you create — such as your spotter's logbook, card collection, flight passport entries and saved preferences. Most of this is stored locally on your device; account-linked data may be stored to provide sign-in across sessions.
• Camera — the "Identify" feature uses your device camera to recognise aircraft. The camera is only active while you are using that feature and only with your permission.
• Approximate location — if you allow it, used to centre the map near you. You can decline and use the app normally.
• Basic technical/usage data — standard information such as app version and general diagnostics needed to keep the service working.

How we use information

• To provide core features (live map, identification, logbook, passport and related tools).
• To sign you in and keep your account-linked data available.
• To maintain, secure and improve the app.

We do not sell your personal information.

Flight and map data

Live aircraft positions and related aviation information are delivered through our own servers. This is operational data about aircraft, not personal information about you.

Third-party services

We use Google Firebase for account sign-in and related functionality. Map tiles and fonts may be loaded from third-party content providers to display the app. These providers process limited technical data (such as IP address) to deliver their content, under their own privacy policies.

Data retention

Locally stored data remains on your device until you clear it. Account-linked data is kept while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account-linked data by contacting us.

Children

JetStream Live is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your choices

• You can use much of the app without an account.
• You can deny or revoke camera and location permissions in your device settings.
• You can clear locally stored data via your browser/app settings, or request account deletion.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
